Messenger Model: Valence Health has created a web-based tool to stream line your operations and take the administrative hassles out of using the messenger model for contracting. Your physicians can log onto a secure web site and access the fee schedule that your organization is presenting, and compare typical volume weighted utilization by specialty against a Medicare benchmark. So not only does the tool help improve your operational efficiencies, it gives the physicians a tool to make informed decisions about payer fee schedules. The tool also has the capability to allow physicians to build their own utilization models, specific to their practice, to evaluate payer fee schedules. These models are saved, and the physician can use them over again with each new contract. On the back end of the application, there is an administrative tool that allows your organization to manage the process in an efficient manner. We can feed data into your existing network management tool or you can use ours as the primary source for contract management. This application is flexible and totally customizable to meet your organizations needs. |

Network Manager: This application is designed for organizations to manage their provider network. In addition to capturing demographic information about the physician’s practice, you can also track the contracts that he/she participates in, and all the information needed for credentialing (licensure, malpractice insurance, primary source verification, etc). For several of our clients, we have integrated the application with their web site, so physicians can update their own information in the database. |

Clinical Integration Reports: These reports are generated at the organization and physician level to show compliance and adherence to the standard of care for particular clinical conditions. The measurements are based on clinical guidelines or protocols that are implemented by your organization as the basis for your Clinical Integration program. The reports are generated through the use of claims data or self reported data. |

The Valence Report: This set of reports is designed to provide extensive information to support an organization's efforts to manage all aspects of a risk contract. Physician, pharmaceutical, and patient analysis aid in identifying areas of potential improvement and where management should focus its energies. The report has three main components - a management report that allows you to look at overall performance and also identify physicians who are substandard performers (from a cost and utilization standpoint), a primary care physician report which give performance information to the individual, and a Specialist report which also gives performance information to the individual as compared to other physicians in the organization in the same specialty. |

Integrated Utilization and Disease Management Application: This proprietary tool is used to conduct reviews for medical necessity of inpatient care and outpatient procedures. It has a built in task system that helps the nurses keep track of the work that is due on any given day. The tool includes a Disease Management component which is utilized to conduct assessments of patients with chronic conditions (Asthma, Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure) and track follow up calls due, as well as trend their condition over time. This application is integrated with our claims management information system which allows users to look up the patient’s recent claim and pharmacy history with the click of a button. |
